Autumn/Winter ’11 Trends: Explored

“Tis the season to be jolly  FASHIONABLE…”

Autumn/Winter is admittedly one of my most favourite seasons of fashion/beauty. Winter fashion is all about striking the balance between being cosy AND fashionable and Autumn fashion allows you to explore bolder colours, prints and textures. AW11 trends have been showcased over pretty much every single glossy magazine in the past few weeks and more recently in all high-street and high-end stores, so I decided to disect the trends shown and discuss them with you! 🙂

Fashion:

Tunic dresses, bold prints, animal motifs, faux fur, tweed, plaid, “heritage”, “fetish”, bondage, leather, studs, chains, silverware, chunky knitwear, oversized jumpers, OTT detailing, 70’s bohemia, girls dressed as boys, androgynous dressing, pencil skirts, pussy bow blouses, navaho, aztec, fairisle, fringing, capes, kimonos, loafers, fringed wedges, knee high boots. Colours: burgundy, mustard, petrol blue and scarlet.
