Hey guys!
Yes, today’s post is going to be another un-glamourous beauty tip that I use ALL of the time. Now if you are like me and you suffer from the odd blemish or annoying pesky outbreak, you are probably always on the look out for a product that can help you. However, lots of spot treatment creams/oitments etc. can be often very harsh on the skin and can sometimes actually make the situation worse. I know personally, and i’m not going to name and shame any product brands here… but I used a PARTICULAR brand of spot treatment cream and it actually burned my skin raw! So painful and not exactly what you would call attractive. With super sensitive skin like mine, i need to be very selective with what goes on my face. Sooooo… this is why SUDOCREM is literally the best thing in the world,

Anytime, I have any blemishs or a spot, I whip this bad boy out, apply a small dab of it to the affected area and SHAZAYM in the morning it is either completely gone or at least significantly improved.

Yes according to that pic, it appears I have no shame… and I really don’t. Everybody should take a pic of themselves…make-up-less, spotty and covered in Sudocrem.. sexy.
Now for anybody living in Ireland, Sudocrem is not an unfamilar product. Over here, we use Sudocrem to treat EVERYTHING! ..seriously! It is the Irish “mammies” secret weapon. BUT for anybody who is unfamiliar with what this “Sudocrem” is.. let me fill you in.
It is basically a light “antiseptic healing cream” which can be used for numerous ailments including:Nappy Rash, Eczema ( even though I debate to its effectiveness here), bed sore, cuts, burns, acne… the list goes on and on. Just a little word of warning though, because it is an antiseptic.. you must keep it out of your eyes and your mouth… trust me, it doesn’t taste good… It can be purchased in sooo many places…supermarkets, pharmacies…seriously it’s everywhere! It comes in a few different sized tubs and it lasts for aaaaages!
IT’S AMAZING…. buy it!!
Anyway, that’s all I’ve really got to say on the matter. I hope this little tip has helped somebody and if you already did this/knew this then YAAAAAAAY for you! 🙂
Would love to hear of any of your “spot treatment” tricks… so please leave them in a comment below!
Thanks again for reading guys and until next time… Byeeee! Kx 🙂
What does it have in it? I work in skin care/makeup so I find myself always asking “what makes it effective”. When you’re reviewing a product really try and lay some ingredients/delivery systems out. It’ll make the content so much more believable, and you’ll educate yourself and your readers along the way (I learn way too much from blogging…).
Hi there, thanks a lot for the tip! I’ll defo try to do that more in the future! 🙂
I am also looking for Sudocrem in Canada and I can’t find it! MURDER.>:O
It has zinc-oxide in it. Hope that helps:)
