Maxfactor Face Finity All Day Primer; Yay or Nay?

….with glittery flying pigs… just because

I don’t know about you, but as a beauty blogger, I am so sick and tired of products not living up to their promises. I’ve used so many primers in the past that have just been “meh” and with their effects lasting only a couple of hours. On the verge of giving up, I decided to try one last time when I picked up the new Maxfactor primer. Even though my expectations have been crushed so many times, with this bad boy, they were met at last!

I would describe this little’ un as a primer for all. It’s not too matte, nor is it dewy so I feel it’s suitable for any skin type. There’s also no scent so perfect for anyone with sensitivity. The product itself sinks in straight away and acts almost like a glue under your foundation without the yucky stickiness.

It has a lovely smoothing effect on your skin but if you are looking for a pore minimiser, you’ll need to look elsewhere. I found that this primer worked with nearly all foundation types but I preferred it best under my liquid foundations. You literally only need the smallest amount, which I apply using my fingers.

This product by no means will blow you away, but its a good honest working primer which will keep your foundation on all day.. and that’s the least a girl could ask for eh?

Bravo Maxfactor, Bravo!

Ps: The primer retails for around 13 yo yos and can be found in most good pharmacies and Maxfactor stockists nationwide. G’wan and treat yourself! 😉
